The end of I am Sam 2-29-2012

So we finished I am Sam and i absolutely fell in love with this move again. In the end Sam regain the custody  of his daughter and they all lived happily ever. Lucy made a lot of attempts to visit sam by sneaking out of the window and walking to his apartment complex. Sam i believe is a very smart man becuase he had so many jobs that he was able to keep up with, so i know for sure that he is a good father. And it is also Leap year.

BHM 2-28-2012

The assembly today was amazing and I loved it. I exceptionally thought that it was funny when Erica Thompson (Who am I) portrayed herself as Martin Lawrence. I love the whole assembly and i thought that everyone did an exceptional job.

I am SAM... 2-27-2012

Today in AP Psychology class we watched a touching movie called "I am Sam" and it was so touching. It was hard to see his daughter being taken away from him, the connection that they had seemed impossible to break. Sam suffered from border line mental retardation, which meant that he had the mind compacity of a seven year old. It started off with him getting a homeless woman pregnant, and she left him with the baby, where he was then forced to take care of the baby, although sometime's he would forget to feed her every two hours, he was never hesitant to ask his neighbor for help. Other than that he was an amazing father who only waned the best for his daughter named Lucy (played by Dakota Fanning). He went to court becuase the judge thought that he wasn't capale to take care of his daughter and he tried to fight for her, but he got overwhlemed and he lost the case. He was forced to see his highly intelligent  seven year old daughter go to her new family. So far we have not finished the movie but i can't wait to see what's the outcome. 

Second Day of Driving School 2-26-2012

I have driving school everyone Saturday and Sunday, and today was a little bit better than yesterday because instead of the three hour lecture, he only lectured us for two hours, we also played two truths and a lie, which was fun. I got to learn a lot about one of my classmates named Willie. Willie is a commuter freshman at Morgan State and he talked to me about the joys and hardships of being a freshman college student. He told me about the struggle that he went through and how he wasn't really a party boy. He said that he only went to one party and other than that he declared his major as being a chemical engineer. He also attended a private school. I also met a girl named ? and she attends Mcdonough, and she plays soccer. She is also very smart to only be 15 years old in driving school. Today in driving school we learned about the different signs, pavement and markings on the roads and high ways. I also helped my mother with her online math homework which was funny because every time we would get a question wrong she would make a weird noise.

First Day of Driving school 2-25-2012

So today is my official first day of driving school and was is so boring. I got to know a little about some of my class mates but other than that it was boring. I had to sit through three hours of Mr. Reuter lecturing us about the Do's and Don't's of starting a car and seat belt safety. We watched what looked to be a very old tape about seat belt safety, which was kind of informative, but other than that it was a snooze. I enjoyed doing the group activity; which required us to pass a car around, if we heard the word "left" we would have to give it to the person on our left and if we heard "right" we would have to give it to the person on our right. And some times we would hear the same words more than once which made the game more fun. I also went to PA to drop my sister off at a slumber party, and that was where i saw a beatuiful shadow of a tree.

2-24-2012

TGIF finally this week is over and know i can hurry and try to finish my FAFSA. I am so anxious to know if i will have enough time to get everything done. I guess my worst enemy now is my patience Other than that today was a very intriguing day because in AP Biology we worked on a sense experiment, testing to see if we felt pain on certain area of our body while poking our self with a tooth pick. and in all reality i found out that i have very sensitive because even at the lightest touch of the tooth pick i still felt a slight pain sensation.

Today was yet another mundane day except for the fact i learned a lot of new and interesting things in my AP Biology class. Like making an experiment that I had to conduct with pretend data. And I chose to do mine on comparing if dogs and wolves share the same hearing sensory. I think that I had a pretty good experiment. I am also patiently waiting for my pin to update so that I can finish my fafsa. So Instead of me worrying i decided to let go and let god.

Its crane time!!!! I drew a picture of my hand holding a crane in my fundamentals of art class and boy was it challenging. I was pretty focused, yet for the fact that I was surrounded by a bunch of freshmen who honestly have too much time on there hands. Because the only thing that talked about were things that shouldn't be said in school. Other than that my mother told me and my sisters walk to Angie's hair store by ourself which was crazy because my mother is very protective and would have never let us leave the house without her being with us. And while I was at the store I saw Amber :-).

Yet another mundane day and I didn't eat meat for breakfast and or lunch. Yet I had meat for dinner, and it was delicious. I leaned a lot about myself which is that I can be very lazy at times when I need to be studying and or doing my homework. And that is a habit that need to get out of ASAP!!!

So today was cheat day for me. I ate meat, when I wasn't supposed to. In my family, on Mondays we have no meat Monday and I completely forgot. So I plan on not eating me for breakfast and lunch tomorrow. Other than that I had a pretty mundane day.

So today i started driving school and i was so nervous. I thought that it was going to be boring, but it wasn't and i learned a lot of things that i didn't know before about driving and it's requirements. I had a lot of fun. I also spent the night over my cousin's house where i had an amazing time, we stayed up all night watching movies and we made breakfast the next day which was a lot of fun too. I learned in driving school that we have to hold the wheel 8 to 4 (what does that mean).

Clean up time, so Mr. Carney told the class that if we helped him put the computers up then he would treat the class to pizza. And while he was saying that to the class i was working on my scholarship essay, so i had to make a choice to either start working on the scholarship that i due may 30th and or work and earn pizza for it. I rationalized, and asked Ms. Shay to help me with the essay and then i rushed and helped Mr. Carney with the computers. I have to honestly say that cleaning up and helping Mr. Carney with the computers was the most funnest, that i have had in AVID so far.

Drivers Ed 2-16-2012

So I just applied for driving school and I am so excited. I was able to talk to the women who worked there and see the classroom which made me nervous. My mother got really anxious as she was talking to the lady at the desk about me driving. I start driving school on Sunday and I thank god for allowing me to have this opportunity and I would also like to thank my family for helping me also.

So today is the deadline for stevenson fasfa and I still have yet to finish it. I am stuck waiting for my pin to configurate. ugh other them that today I felt as if I wasn't making any progress in avid. It felt as we were doing nothing and It also feels like a free period were i can just do homework and talk with my friends. And also tomorrow I go and pay for drivers Ed and I am so excited and I am also working on this scholarship.

Breaking dawn 2-12-2012

So i am so excited because my mother brought the Breaking Dawn part one movie "Bella's Wedding Edition" with special features. And i am so excited,and i couldn't be any happier. I watched Bella's and Edward's personal wedding video, Jacobs destiny, and also some of the behind-the-scene clips. And i Love it!! But my mother made me promise not watch the movie until tomorrow, so that we can watch it together. (Twihard Forever).....

Procrastination 2-11-2012

Today i was supposed to do my Fasfa but my father kept procrastinating. So now i have to go to the university of Baltimore and file for fasfa there because the information that my father gave me was invalid. My father is cheap and he thought that it would be cheaper if he would file his taxes by himself and that got me no where but i thank my uncle for helping us because at least we got some parts of the fasfa done.  Other then that i begged my father to buy the Breaking Dawn part 1 movie for me and he kept saying "no" and or "hold on". So now i am frustrated and i kind of want to go home. P.S valley's pizza is greasy but good.

BD night 2-10-2012

Today seemed as if it went by so fast, and i am now over my father's house. Tonight is the night that breaking Dawn comes out , but tomorrow is the official day and i am so excited because i am going to beg my father to get the movie for me. And also this weekend i promised myself that i will get my fasfa done. I love twilight and everyone of my friends and family members know, so there would be no surprises if i go to school on Monday talking about the movie right?

Surprise 2-9-2012

So today in AVID we were given partners and not in the normal way that you would get them. We had to write basically seven answers to seven questions and Carney put them into a paragraph. Then we had to go around the room and find out who had our name because who ever had our name would be our partner. Now i thought for sure that Prosper had my name because he called me a twilight feen. But boy was I wrong, Amber actually had my name and she is my partner. Now this really shocked me because i don't really talk to amber, but we have the some of the same classes, so i know for sure that she is a cool person. Other then that i think that me and Amber will make a good team because both us know what we want and we will go after it no matter what the circumstances is.

Today was another mundane day although for the fact that I didn't feel well. Other then that as soon as I came home from school I noticed that my mother brought colossal donuts which made me hungry. Yet we had to wait for my brother to get home. I was also told to clean my messy room which screamed "Clean Me!!!" Well other then that i grew to love different forms of pop from listening to all of the twilight saga sound tracks.

Today i have to say that it was an ok day. I found out that my friend Ebe got what she was working hard for ( congrats) and I learned that the people you may have known last year aren't the same people that you know this year. Other than that today was also no meat Monday but my mother was craving chicken so we are going to have no meat Tuesday instead yay Veggies.

The Giants won the Super Bowl 2-5-2012

To be completely honest with everyone, I dont really like football but on Super Bowl night is when they air a lot of funny and interesting commercials. Other than that I basically washed clothes and worked on my AP Psychology homework. And oh yeah the Giants won the Super Bowl.

Twilight Night 2-4-2012

So tonight we are having a girls night where we're going to watch all of the twilight movies in a row. We are going to have rice crispy treats, popcorn, and cookies with some hot coa coa. We are going to have so much fun because my little cousins are coming over to spend sometime with us girls and my mom doesn't have to work. So yay Twilight Night.....

The big break down 2-3-2012

Tonight was an awful night, I felt as if everything was coming down on me at once. And I couldn't handle it so I finally cracked and cried all night. I was so depressed with trying to meet the dead line of applying to ten scholarships. And also trying to see if I would be able to pay for college, so I felt discouraged and I just wanted to give up. My mother tried to make me feel better by letting me know that I had a lot of support but that didn't work so I talked to my aunt in law and she made me feel a whole lot better. She helped reassure me that everything was going to be ok and the only thing that I have to do is pray and ask god to help and guide me through the right path in life.

Soo i went over my aunt's house today were she gave me money to pay for driving school. Thank You aunt Trista!!!!!! I am so happy.... I can't wait to start driving school, I also spent sometime with my family. And also today we got our report card and i think that mine was horrible because i had 1 D and 2 C's other then that i had two B's and an A. I think that i did horrible, but i could have gotten worse so the only thing that i can do know is thank god for allowing me to get the grades that i got. Thank you Jesus.

Decisions decisions.. so i talked to Ms. Shay about the benefits that i would have if i was to go to University of Baltimore. And not only did i find out that the tuition is affordable but i also found out that they had an awesome campus. And not too long ago i was talking to the housing counselor and she told about there varsity houses and how they were affordable. So i think that i found a Winner!!!!! And they have my major which is Forensic Studies.
